Enhancing your Profile Balancing Technique
By
We know that making small tweaks to a patient’s features can make a huge difference to their overall profile.
Whether it’s adding a little more definition to their jawline, filling out a retrograded chin, lifting a heavy brow, plumping a thin lip, or adding volume to a sagging cheek, there’s generally something you can do to create a more balanced facial appearance.
Careful assessment comes first
To ensure you recommend the best approach to your patients, a thorough assessment of their concerns and facial features is essential.
Take time to actively listen to what bothers them, before reviewing their face from each angle, upon rest and animation. It’s important that you don’t solely focus on a patient’s request – instead, you should make your own judgement using your clinical knowledge, understanding of the ageing face and what makes a harmonious profile.
Product selection is key
Once you’ve identified a treatment plan, next comes product selection. Choosing something clinically proven to create beautiful profiles will stand you in good stead, which is why we love UPHA. The 2ml variant of this hyaluronic acid gel has excellent stability and versatility, while being specifically recommended for more challenging single-fix procedures and multiple profile corrections. Containing lidocaine, you can reassure your patients that treatment with UPHA will be comfortable. Results will be immediate and last approximately five to eight months.
