OK, sometimes we don’t want to type in the website address… EVERY TIME… we want to visit that site. Sometimes we would just like to click a button!

So, add Teleta to your mobile phones home screen! It’s pretty straight forward:

iPad or iPhone

  1. Launch “Safari” app.  This does not work from the “Chrome” app (baaad Chrome app… this is annoying cause that’s a fav browser but, what can you do).
  2. Enter into the address field the URL of the website you want to create a shortcut to.
  3. Tap “Go.”
  4. Tap the icon featuring a right-pointing arrow coming out of a box along the top (or bottom… depends on how you like it) of the Safari window to open a drop-down menu.
  5. Tap “Add to Home Screen.” The Add to Home dialog box will appear, with the icon that will be used for this website on the left side of the dialog box.
  6. Enter the name for the shortcut using the on-screen keyboard and tap “Add.” Safari will close automatically and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPad’s desktop.
  7. leave it there or move it to your first screen or folder for organising 🙂
  8. Done

Now, when you want to visit Teleta, goto the app icon on your screen and hit it. Easy 😉

Android

  1. Launch “Chrome” app.
  2. Open the website or web page you want to pin to your home screen.
  3. Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap Add to homescreen.
  4. You’ll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen.
  5. leave it there or move it to your first screen or folder for organising 🙂
  6. Done

As with Safari, whenever you want to visit the site, just click on the Teleta icon. Easy 😉
