Cyclizine is a medication that belongs to a class of drugs called antihistamines, specifically H1 receptor antagonists. It is commonly used to treat and prevent nausea, vomiting, and dizziness caused by:

• Motion sickness
• Vertigo
• Postoperative nausea and vomiting
• Medication induced nausea (e.g. weight loss medications, opioids or chemotherapy)
• Labyrinthitis and other inner ear disorders

How To use Cyclizine

• Take with or without food up to 3 times a day, as long as it is 8 hours apart.
• To alleviate motion sickness, take 1 to 2 hours before travel.

Common side effects can include:

• Drowsiness
• Dry mouth
• Blurred vision
• Constipation
• Dizziness

Indications

• Should be used with caution in people with liver disease, epilepsy, or enlarged prostate.
• May interact with alcohol, sedatives, and other medications causing drowsiness.
• Not usually recommended in pregnancy unless advised by a doctor.
