Unfortunately, having a website doesn’t mean you’ll automatically be found by potential patients searching for aesthetic treatments in your area on Google. Being seen relies on having good Search Engine Optimisation – or SEO – but how do you get this?
Here at Teleta, our web experts share their top five tips…
1. Make sure your website is mobile friendly: you can use Google’s Mobile-Friendly Test to check this and ensure your site performs well on all devices, which will improve your search rankings.
2. Use keywords in the right places: include them in your title tag, URL and the first 100 words of your content to help boost your SEO.
3. Get people to stay on your page for longer: how do you do this? Make your content easier to read! Think subheadings, bullet points, images, charts, infographics and videos.
4. Delete ‘Zombie’ pages: if you have old pages on your website that don’t serve a purpose anymore, get rid! Google will like this and rank your site higher.
5. Add ‘What is X?’ content to blogs: so many people search for definitions, particularly when it comes to aesthetic treatments. Provide them with the answers by writing blogs with phrases that contain ‘What is X?’ to help with your rankings.
So, now you know, we’re not just a great supplier – always happy to help share advice on running other parts of your business too! Get in touch if you’ve got any other topics you’d like us to cover and you may see them in an upcoming blog…
