The Diabetes Test is an essential assessment for those who have diabetes, have a family history of the condition, or have symptoms suggestive of blood sugar issues. Regular monitoring of HbA1C and fasting Glucose levels is also recommended for those with risk factors for diabetes, such as obesity, hypertension, or a sedentary lifestyle.

For the most accurate results, this test must be conducted in the morning after at least 8 hours of fasting. It’s important not to eat or drink anything other than water during the fasting period, as this could affect the Glucose measurement.

An HbA1C level within the normal range suggests good blood sugar control, while elevated levels may indicate diabetes or a risk of developing diabetes. The fasting Glucose test helps to detect diabetes and can also be used to monitor glucose levels in those already diagnosed with the condition.
